Here is a round up of our favorite Christmas picture books. We either own these or we get them from the library each year. I have a note by each one if it is one we own.

Library Loan - cute story of one of the wise men's camels meeting Jesus and learning a valuable lesson.
Library loan - we do own the Easter version of this one though. Beautiful illustrations and the true story of Christmas.
We own this one. It is SO well done. Not only is it in alphabetical order, but it is also in chronological order and it has Bible verses to go with each letter.
We own this one but have not read it yet. However, my mom read it to my brother and I many times as a kid. It is an advent book so there is one chapter of the story to read every day. It is SOOOO good. Cliff hangers almost every day and such a wonderful. There are also several other advent books by this same author following different children. I'm considering it for this year but not sure yet. It has a mean guy character and there are some scarier moments so debating if Mckinley is ready or not - she is 5. If you have upper elementary kids I would STRONGLY recommend this one. The whole family will love it.
Another one we own. What can I say - I love ABC books.
We own this. Super cute story. Mckinley especially loves it.
Another that we own. I think I like this one more than the kids. Its more artistic, poetic I guess you would say in describing Christmas as different colors. I love all the imagery and great rhymes.
Library loan - true story of Queen Charlotte starting the tradition of the Christmas tree.
Library loan - very sweet story of neighbors working together year after year to grow Christmas trees.
We own this. Easton said this was his favorite when I asked. You are all probably familiar with this one but it still had to be on the list.
Library loan - This one just makes us laugh!
I love to do silly voices for all the characters and really get into this one. When I mentioned it going on this list, Easton started telling me one of the parts he loves and I just started laughing.
Library loan - but we might need to buy it because it is SO popular and very hard to get from the library. Such a sweet story of how one tree spread Christmas cheer to many.
Library loan - This one is SO clever. It tells about the journey and different careers that Santa had that eventually led to him being Santa and perfectly capable for the many tricks of his trade.
Library loan - if you own any in this series, then you definitely have to check out the Christmas one. I am a sucker for series with holiday sequels. And this series in general is so good. I love her clever rhymes.
The next seven are our favorites from PaperPie (formerly Usborne Books and More). The library may have some. If you want to purchase any to own, the link below the 7 pictures will take you directly to my site and there is currently a FREE Shipping promo on orders of $30 or more.
Santa post is my FAVORITE Christmas book from PaperPie. It is written by the same author as all of the Nibbles books if you are familiar with those. There are letters to open and read throughout. It is a very silly story with a great twist at the end!
We LOVE the Peek Inside series. Laser cut designs, flaps and beautiful illustrations.
A beautiful sound book that plays parts of the popular ballet songs.
I Spy style books are always fun!

These last three are ones we have not read yet but I've recently learned about them on Instagram. The top and bottom ones were for sure from Whitney at Brighter Day Press. I trust and love all her book recommendations. I can't exactly remember where I saw the recommendation for the middle one. These are all on hold and I am excited to read them this year.
I hope this was helpful. Happy Christmas Reading!!
